Overview
In this webinar, presented in collaboration with Dental Update and in partnership with Dentsply Sirona, Jon Cowie and Luca Moranzoni take us through the evolution of the Reciproc family and the arrival of Reciproc Minima. Anchored by the principle that the anatomy drives the protocol, the session moves from the metallurgy and design of Reciproc Blue through to the high-tariff cases where a smaller, more flexible file earns its place.

Clinical relevance
The presenters make the case that no single file system suits every canal, and demonstrate how to read a pre-operative radiograph or CBCT to anticipate risk before picking up an instrument. Practical detail runs throughout: the resisting rather than pushing motion, three working passes with irrigation between, patency checks with a size 10, and setting working length 0.5 mm short of the zero reading. The long-term follow-ups shown, at five and six years, offer reassurance that conservative shapes hold up over time.
